LSL Property Services is one of the UK’s largest providers of services to franchised estate agencies, mortgage intermediaries, and valuation services for many of the UK’s biggest mortgage lenders.
We are looking for a Commercial and Corporate Solicitor to join our in-house legal team at our York Head Office on a fixed term contact.
As the Commercial and Corporate Solicitor, you will provide legal support across a wide variety of matters including commercial contracts, corporate transactions, franchising, and contentious issues, as well as contribute to data protection and information security across the Group.

Business Legal Support
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (including distribution, mortgage club, and valuation services contracts)Provide franchising advice and draft associated legal documentation for the LSL Franchise networkSupport the business on contentious matters, including commercial disputes and data protection claimsCorporate Transactions
Support the General Counsel and Head of Legal with strategic acquisitions and disposalsManage communications and coordination with external counsel on more complex transactions or disputesAssist with documentation of loans made by the Financial Services and Franchising DivisionsCommercial Contracts
Provide legal advice and practical support on general commercial contracts across all business areasData Protection & Information Security
Deliver legal support on data protection issues and draft relevant agreementsAdvise on compliance within the Group’s data protection and privacy practices
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 3 years' PQE (as at 2025)Strong legal expertise in commercial contracts, corporate law, and data protectionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently, manage competing deadlines and prioritise effectivelyCommercially astute with strong organisational and analytical skillsProven ability to build positive stakeholder relationships across business areasEnthusiastic team player with a client-focused approach and solution-oriented mindsetLSL is an equal opportunity employer and a Disability Confident Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
