Job Description
The Command Center Technician II plays a key role in monitoring, operating, and responding to critical utilities and building systems across Moderna campuses. This role functions as the central communication hub for facilities‑related issues, ensuring seamless operations through effective use of Building Management Systems (BMS), Central Monitoring Systems (CMS), and other digital platforms. Responsibilities include system monitoring, alarm response, communication management, preventative maintenance, utility equipment oversight, and maintaining operational continuity through shift turnovers and reporting.
Compensation: $38/hr to $42/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (military training equivalent acceptable).
• 3+ years' experience with building management systems and critical utilities operations.
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination, issue resolution, and conveying technical information
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems, particularly Maximo.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills for analyzing complex technical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor. • In‑depth knowledge of utility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Technical certifications or vocational training beyond high school
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting clean utilities systems in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
