**Job Title: Combo Welder**
**Job Description**
Join a leading manufacturer of pipes, valves, and flanges (PVF) as a Combo Welder, specializing in welding and fitting tasks. This role involves using blueprints to layout and fit materials, welding thicker Tee fittings from 1" to 1.5" up to 2 feet in diameter, using carbon and stainless steel, with MIG and Flux Core welding techniques.
**Responsibilities**
+ Use blueprints to layout and fit up materials independently.
+ Weld thicker Tee fittings ranging from 1" to 1.5" up to 2 feet in diameter.
+ Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on carbon and stainless steel materials.
+ Execute 6G welds in various positions.
+ Work with large parts such as flanges, well necks, and slip offs, focusing on different sizes daily.
**Requirements**
+ Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding.
+ 5+ years of welding experience.
+ Ability to perform fit-ups and read blueprints and layouts.
+ Experience in 6G Pipe welding in position.
+ Expertise in welding 1"+ thick carbon steel material.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 10+ years of experience in both fitting and welding.
+ Experience in welding thicker and larger parts.
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large, renovated manufacturing shop equipped with shipping, receiving, and machining areas. Utilize overhead and jib cranes at each machining station due to the large parts involved. Experience a loud machine shop that is open air and non-climate controlled, with large fans for air circulation. Communicate in a diverse environment using English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Work primarily during the day shift from 7:00am to 4:00pm, with potential weekend shifts depending on production needs. Steel toes, jeans, work shirt, and safety glasses are required attire.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
