Job Description
The Collections Specialist will engage directly with consumers, utilizing proficient communication and problem-solving skills to guide account resolution while maintaining a respectful and professional approach.
ResponsibilitiesInitiate outbound calls to consumers with delinquent accounts to arrange payments.Send collection notices as needed based on account status and company guidelines.Manage inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.Collaborate with teammates to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.Uphold excellent phone etiquette and adapt to various personalities and communication styles.Interpret consumer needs and respond appropriately.Communicate proactively with your manager regarding account challenges or training needs.Maintain company production standards in alignment with team performance metrics.Foster positive working relationships with colleagues.Safeguard all sensitive consumer data through strict confidentiality protocols.Assist with additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsCustomer service experience, such as CSR at a company or experience as a waitress/waiter or bartender.General office experience.Comfortable utilizing computer programs.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM with high accuracy.Additional Skills & QualificationsMotivated self-starter.Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with no option for onsite work. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm. Employees must have internet access. Dress appropriately depending on the day's events.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
