Collections Associate

Our client, a leader in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, is seeking a Collections Associate to join their team. As a Collections Associate, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical aptitude, and creative problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Collections Associate
**Location:** Solon, OH
**Pay Range:** $21.76 /hour
**Shift:** 7am/8am start - 4pm/5pm end, Monday to Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct and provide collection analytics and root cause analysis to identify and correct issues leading to delayed or unpaid collectable items.
+ Gather and send customer-required documentation to assist in collection efforts.
+ Analyze customers’ accounts; monitor account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
+ Collaborate with internal parties including Credit Management, Sales, and Customer Facing Supply Chain to effectively collect debts.
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities using Nestlé Continuous Excellence methodology.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
+ Availability and flexibility to work different shifts based on customer geography/time zone.
+ One or more years of commercial customer service or collection experience preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
