**Job Title: Manual Machinist** **Job Description** This role involves setting up and operating cold heading or threading equipment, inspecting parts and verifying dimensional data, maintaining scheduled delivery, reading and interpreting blueprints, and maintaining tools. The operator will also be responsible for all aspects of machine setup and operation. Training will be provided for up to 6 months depending on progression. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate cold heading or threading equipment. + Inspect parts and verify dimensional data. + Maintain scheduled delivery of parts. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Maintain tools and equipment. + Ensure all aspects of the machines are maintained from setup to operation. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading blueprints and using tooling. + Mechanical inspection skills. + 5+ years of experience in Cold Head/Roll Thread operating. + Ability to work independently and within a team. + Strong communication skills. + Experience in a machine shop environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Training or leadership experience is a plus. + Proficiency with micrometers and calipers. + Strong math aptitude and attention to detail. + Capability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing up to 100lbs. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Currently, there are no mandatory overtime requirements, with voluntary overtime available. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $64000.00/yr.
