Job Description
The 3rd Shift Coating Operator plays a crucial role in the initial stages of foil making, focusing on machine operation and safety. This position involves working during the third shift, operating machinery to apply aluminum rolls of coated films in a vacuum metalizer.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in loading paper rolls onto the machine.Maintain quality and machinery efficiency during operations.Clean, set up, and operate metallizer per scheduled sequence, process sheets, and work instructions.Perform quality inspections of end-of-roll samples.Accurately record all necessary process and quality documentation.Package all finished materials after the process is complete.Operate a forklift.Conduct routine maintenance.Essential SkillsMachine operating experience.Safety-first mindset.Basic understanding of the paper industry.Ability to operate a forklift.Experience with computers and following SOPs.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.1+ years of experience in a similar role.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing environment where candidates will work on their feet for an 8-hour shift, training and collaborating with another machine operator in the foiling department. The position operates during third shift hours, from 11 PM to 7 AM, with a pay differential. The environment focuses on teamwork and safety.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
