Job Description
As a Coater Manufacturing Technician, you will primarily operate a large, automatic coating machine within a clean room environment. You will monitor the machine using a computer to ensure it runs according to the run sheet and maintain alertness during the process, which can take up to six hours. Your role also involves quality control of wafers used in electronic and technological applications.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a 6ftx6ft coating machine and monitor its performance using a computer.Conduct quality control (QC) of wafers in a clean room environment using scanning machines.Document work and operate computers and machinery to assist in wafer production.Assist in cleaning coating machines every 1.5 weeks, wearing a respirator and Tyvek suit.Operate a Bead Blaster to clean coating machine parts by blasting substrate off with micro-beads.Essential SkillsBasic computer skills with confidence in navigating technology.Comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) including bunny suits, respirators, and Tyvek suits.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and willingness to disassemble/reassemble machines.Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert for extended periods.Willingness to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekend days.Additional Skills & QualificationsLeadership experience or experience in large product assembly is beneficial.Good computer skills and knowledge of hand tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.60 - $27.60/hr.
