We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift, working from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. This position involves setting up and operating CNC Swiss Screw machines to produce small parts for the medical industry. Candidates with experience in other types of CNC or machine operating are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Swiss Screw machines.Utilize the Part Maker program for machine operations.Work with 4 and 5 axis machines to produce metal and plastic parts.Load stock, run machines, check parts, and make necessary adjustments.Work from blueprints to manufacture parts with precision.Use micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements.Operate with a tolerance of +/- ten thousandths of an inch.Perform additional manufacturing tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC, milling, and machine operating.Ability to read and interpret blueprints (1+ years of experience preferred).Proficiency with micrometers and calipers.Detail-oriented and capable of lifting 25-50 lbs frequently and exerting 50 lbs of force occasionally.High school diploma or GED required.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Part Maker or similar programs like Solidworks.Why Work Here?Join a company with strong tenure and a close-knit team dedicated to excellence in orthopedic implant and medical device manufacturing. Work EnvironmentWork in a clean and well-maintained machine shop with a mild to moderate noise level, occasionally experiencing loud noises. Our dress code prioritizes safety, requiring no fringes, loose clothing, or long hair. Jeans are acceptable. The role operates on the 3rd shift, from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with training provided on 1st or 2nd shifts. You will work alongside one other team member on the 3rd shift and complete classroom training on medical field specifications.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
