Job Title: CNC Swiss Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machine Operator who is familiar with operating Citizen L12 and/or L20 machines. The ideal candidate will run production, deburr parts, and perform necessary tool changes and offsets to ensure the production of conforming parts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and an ability to conduct In-Process-Inspections, record inspection data, and ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate Citizen L12 and/or L20 CNC Swiss Machines efficiently.Run production and deburr parts as required.Change broken or dull tools and perform offsets to maintain machine output.Conduct In-Process-Inspections and record inspection data accurately.Inspect parts using microscopes, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers, and other equipment.Read and understand layouts, job travelers, and blueprints.Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Ensure adherence to written manufacturing processes and procedures.Maintain compliance with company quality and safety standards.Perform preventative maintenance duties and maintain a clean and safe work area.Conduct oneself in a professional manner with a high standard of job performance.Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.

Essential Skills

2-4 years of CNC Swiss Operating experience.Familiarity with Citizen L12 and/or L20 machines.Prior experience in a production setting or comparable manufacturing environment.Understanding of tooling requirements for machine setup and operation.Familiarity with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing.Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.Strong in machine math/shop math.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Mathematics experience with shop math.Proficiency with measuring tools.Understanding of numerical control and CNC Swiss.Familiarity with tooling requirements and pre-setting of tools.

The position is based in an extremely nice, brand new machine shop with both office and machining floor settings. The work environment is well-lit with natural light, and extremely clean. Enjoy paid lunches for all shifts and a 15% shift differential for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). Work in a company that has been in business for about 11 years and is rapidly growing, producing high-precision R&D parts for leading medical companies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.45 - $28.18/hr.
