CNC Supervisor
**Description** Lead CNC machine shop operators and assistant/s to machine product needed for assembly, engineering and other business purposes. Ensures a customer-centric orientation specifically with regards to on time delivery of a quality product. Hands on support including programming and running machines. Operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes to produce precision medical device components with high quality and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and adherence to strict regulatory and quality standards in a medical device manufacturing environment. Shift: Mon-Thurs 5:00am-3:00pm Pay: 80k-92k ($38.50-44.00 hourly) Job Functions - Lead daily operations by assigning tasks, scheduling personnel, and ensuring alignment with plant and company goals. - Drive associate productivity, accountability, and performance through effective leadership, training, and conflict resolution. - Enforce safety protocols, procedural compliance, and promote good housekeeping practices. - Ensure quality standards, on-time delivery, and documentation accuracy in line with GMP and company expectations. - Monitor and maintain proper use of equipment, coordinate routine maintenance, and manage supply inventory. - Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and escalating issues as needed. - Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to management and cross-functional teams. - Perform component packaging, testing, and non-compliance handling per documented procedures. - Carry out additional duties as assigned to support business needs. MACHINING FUNCTIONS: - Operate and set up CNC mills and lathes for precise medical component production. - Set up tooling, fixtures, and optimize machining parameters. - Perform secondary operations like deburring, ultrasonic cleaning, and sandblasting. - Inspect parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.). - Read and interpret 2D drawings and GD&T for conformance. - Contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains. - Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and GMP documentation standards. - Maintain clean, safe work areas and perform machine maintenance as needed. **Skills** Cnc, Lathe, Cnc machining, Mill, Cnc programming, Cnc machine, Troubleshooting, Machining, Programming, Cnc mill, Cnc lathe, axis cnc mill, axis lathe, new product development, horizontal mill, horizontal cnc, vertical lathe **Top Skills Details** Cnc,Lathe,Cnc machining,Mill,Cnc programming,Cnc machine,Troubleshooting,Machining **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Qualifications: - Ability to provide leadership and accountability - Minimum 5 years CNC machining hands-on experience - Preferred experience in medical device machining - Preferred: Experience in a regulated environment (medical device, aerospace, or similar). - Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications. - Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. - Basic understanding of G-code and CNC programming (required). - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment to meet production goals. - Experience with medical-grade materials (stainless steel, titanium, PEEK, etc.). - Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations in medical device manufacturing. - Exposure to lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles. **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $92000.00/yr.
