Join a dynamic dental supply company specializing in the production of precision dental equipment for dental offices and schools. We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to manage and operate CNC Screw Machines with expertise in programming, setup, and troubleshooting. This role requires attention to detail and precision in producing high-quality parts with tight tolerances. The position offers a four-day work week with optional overtime on Fridays.
ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC Screw Machines, specifically Star machines using Fanuc controls and Citizen machines using Mitsubishi controls.Program and make necessary adjustments to produce nominal parts, ensuring tight tolerance ranges are met.Interpret part drawings and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.Conduct inspection and apply gaging techniques using devices such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, plug, and ring gauges.Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on CNC Screw machines.Complete setups, including loading programs, positioning fixtures and cutting tools, and adjusting offsets.Exhibit strong tool knowledge and understanding of blueprints, tolerances, and programming requirements.Essential SkillsProficiency in CNC setup, particularly with CNC Screw Machines (Star/Citizen).Understanding of CNC mill and lathe operations.Experience in CNC programming and editing.Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine debugging and problem-solving.Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.At least one year of experience in the setup of CNC Swiss Screw Machines, with consideration for Mill or Lathe setup experience.Knowledge of equipment operation routines and basic shop math.Proficiency in using personal computers, including Windows-based applications.Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control systems is a plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
