Job Title: CNC Setup MachinistJob Description

This position involves setting up a wide variety of 3–5 axis milling centers and manufacturing cells in a fast-paced automotive aftermarket environment. Responsibilities include reviewing manufacturing documentation, setting up and running First Article Inspection (FAI) parts, properly measuring and installing tooling, ensuring part quality standards are met, and maintaining equipment to company-defined standards.

ResponsibilitiesReview manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.Set up and operate CNC machines, including 3-5 axis milling centers, horizontal and vertical mills.Perform setups for both CNC and manual mill operations.Conduct quality control inspections to ensure part quality standards are met.Maintain equipment according to company-defined standards.Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes.Operate more than one machine depending on production volume.Manufacture cylinder heads weighing up to 50-70 pounds.Essential SkillsProficiency in CNC setups and operation, including 3-5 axis milling centers.Experience with Fanuc Controls, known for high reliability, precision, and performance.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push, pull, or exert 25 pounds.Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in programming CNC machines is a plus.Ability to set up and operate both horizontal and vertical milling machines.Knowledge of machining cylinder heads.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

This could be a C-H or DP, consider the DP if they are working and at the high level they needs, 5+ years of experience. 2-3 years would be a C-H\nBenefits when perm, dental, vision, health, 401k, PTO, paid holidays\nAnnual performance review however bonus or pay raise is not guranteed, depends on how the company is doing
