**Job Title: CNC Set Up Mill Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Mill Machinist to join our team. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines in a small machine shop environment, primarily focusing on medical device parts. The shop specializes in working with stainless steel and aluminum materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Program, set up, and operate CNC machines efficiently.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Use dimensioning tools for precise measurements.
+ Inspect parts thoroughly before final inspection.
+ Perform necessary edits using g&m codes.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in CNC machining on mills.
+ Strong setup and editing experience using g&m codes.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with SmartCam is a plus.
+ Minimum of 2 years of setup experience on mills.
+ Must possess personal tools for the role.

**Work Environment**
The position is based in a small, climate-controlled machine shop. The environment is well-maintained, with a focus on quality and precision, using state-of-the-art CNC machines. The work schedule is the 1st shift, from 7am to 4pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
