Overview
Ability to set up machines, select tooling, and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal performance
Experience editing CNC programs with working knowledge of G & M codes
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, scales)
Basic math skills for CNC programming and machining calculations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner
Experience with PPE requirements and safe use of hand and light power tools
Ability to lift 50+ pounds with assistance and work in standing, bending, or squatting positions for extended periods

The CNC Set-Up & Edit Technician is responsible for setting up, editing, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts that meet engineering and print specifications. This role supports efficient production through proper machine setup, tooling selection, program edits, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Skills and Experience Minimum of 2 years of CNC mill setup, editing, and operation experience (Mazak and Haas preferred)Ability to set up machines, select tooling, and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal performance
