CNC Router Operator
**Job Title: CNC Mill/Router Machinist** Job Description Join our team as a CNC Mill/Router Machinist where you will operate large vertical milling centers and work with materials such as aluminum, plastic, and wood. The role involves setting up and adjusting tooling, ensuring precision in parts production, and working with CAM software. Responsibilities + Open existing MasterCAM programs and make necessary edits to feeds and speeds. + Build and set up tooling, and adjust offsets to achieve precise dimensions. + Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job kits with some assistance. + Load programs to CNC milling machines using CAM software. + Conduct first article inspections and perform process prove-outs. + Operate multiple machine tools and perform post-processing work. + Create and edit CNC offsets and perform multi-fixturing. + Conduct quality checks and deliver finished parts to designated areas. + Monitor tool wear and perform advanced tool maintenance. + Assist in training and coaching of level I machinists and interns. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Essential Skills + High school diploma, GED, or trade school graduate, or equivalent experience. + 3-5 years of progressive milling experience. + Ability to read G-code and M-code. + Strong mechanical aptitude and math proficiency. + Experience with precision measuring instruments. + Proficient with manual milling tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience using CAM software is a plus. + Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous. + Ability to adapt to changing project requirements. + Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Work Environment This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to 50 lbs. Work conditions may include exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and loud noises, necessitating adherence to safety protocols. The work environment involves some physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
