Description
Urgent role creating and optimizing CNC programs in Siemens NX for complex aerospace components.
Requires proven experience programming 4‑axis and 5‑axis machines, including setup, simulation, and prove‑out.
Must read/interpret aerospace drawings, tolerances, and understand how plating, surface treatments, and heat‑treat affect machining strategy.
Works closely with process engineering to finalize tooling, fixtures, sequencing, and cycle‑time improvements.
Ideal experience includes aerospace machining in job‑shop environments with high mix/low volume precision parts.
Onsite in Westfield, 45+ hours/week with overtime as needed to support backlog.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher in related field preferred
• Experience with CNC Mill multi-axis programming.
• CAD/CAM experience NX preferred.
• Processing Engineer experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Understanding of CNC machining techniques, and materials.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to choose and/or design correct tooling, and apply speeds and feeds based on process and materials.
• Working knowledge in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry to include Aerospace standards and specifications.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing outsource processes i.e. Plating, Surface treatments and Heat Treat.
• Advance Analytical skills to gather, process and interpret data to solve problems and make decisions.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Strong attention to details
• Time Management and Organizational skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
