PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced CNC Programmer who is passionate about precision, performance, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming engineering designs into high-quality, flight-ready components that meet the rigorous standards of the aviation industry.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled programmer who enjoys working with advanced CNC equipment, collaborating across teams, and delivering excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

As a CNC Programmer, your expertise will directly support production efficiency and product quality. Key responsibilities include:

Programming a variety of CNC manufacturing equipment, including 3- and 5-axis machines, CNC lathes, and routers using Catia

Using CAD/CAM systems to convert engineering drawings and change orders into accurate machine G-code

Implementing program changes and entering new specifications while ensuring correct revision control

Programming future jobs while machines are running to maximize production efficiency

Completing all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Inspecting and evaluating production parts to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications

Designing, building, and repairing basic mechanical or specialty equipment, jigs, and fixtures as needed

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment and machinery

Required Qualifications

Five years of CAD/CAM Catia programming experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy

Knowledge of CNC machines, tools, and their design, use, repair, and maintenance

Understanding of safe working practices in a manufacturing setting

Ability to interpret written technical information

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience programming complex 3- and 5-axis machining operations

Background in aviation or other highly regulated manufacturing environments

Experience designing or modifying fixtures and tooling

Pay Details: $45.84 per hour
