**Job Title: 5-Axis CNC Programmer** **1st shift** **45 - 50 per hour** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled 5-Axis CNC Programmer to operate and program CNC machines, utilizing provided CAD models to develop efficient machining processes. The role involves creating detailed setup instructions, building and verifying tooling, and ensuring machine operations meet high-quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Program and operate 5-axis CNC machines. + Use CAD models to develop machining processes, setup procedures, and inspection points. + Create detailed setup instructions for repeat jobs. + Build and verify tooling to ensure minimal runout and proper clearance. + Monitor machine operation through observation and sound to detect malfunctions. + Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. + Perform routine machine maintenance. + Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and determine repair needs. + Maintain an organized and clean work area to minimize Foreign Object Debris (FOD). + Demonstrate flexibility and adjust priorities as needed to meet customer deadlines. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience programming a CNC mill using MasterCam. + Experience with CNC programming, Mastercam, CNC mill, and computer programming. + Proficiency with Mastercam or Cimatron. + Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization. + Understanding of basic mathematics. + Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 5 years of experience as a 5-axis CNC programmer preferred (candidates with less experience will still be considered). + High school diploma or equivalent. + Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop, and use hands and fingers; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** We offer 100% employee coverage for medical, dental, and vision care. We offer precision 3 and 5-axis CNC milling, part trimming and drilling, and rapid prototype development. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marietta, GA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
