Job Title: CNC ProgrammerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer responsible for the programming, setup, and operation of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines. This role involves completing a variety of one-off and custom projects, machining metal, plastic, and some composites.

ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC machines from scratch using CAD/CAM software (primarily WorkNC and HyperMILL).Program controls to produce high-precision components, primarily using Heidenhain but also Fanuc and Fidia.Create part models and generate toolpaths for CNC machining.Set up machines, including tooling and fixturing, based on project requirements.Ensure quality and accuracy of machined parts through inspection and adjustments as needed, including first-run parts and sample workpieces.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with CNC 3 & 5 axis programming, setup, and operating machines independently.Strong proficiency with Heidenhain controls; experience with Fanuc and/or Fidia is a plus.Experience programming from scratch using WorkNC and/or HyperMILL CAD/CAM software.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas machines is a nice-to-have.Aerospace manufacturing experience is desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a 65,000 square feet, temperature-, vibration-, and access-controlled machining space equipped with advanced CNC machines. The facility is well-lit and clean. The shift hours are from 6 pm to 6 am, with a 10% shift premium.

This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
