Job Title: CNC ProgrammerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to program from scratch at the machine or on a computer. The successful candidate will utilize CAM systems to ensure the proper machining of prototype parts.

ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC machines from scratch using CAM systems.Ensure accurate machining of prototype parts.Select appropriate tools for programmed jobs.Design and identify necessary fixtures for machining processes.Utilize conversational programming directly at the CNC machine.
Essential Skills4+ years of CNC programming experience from scratch.Proficiency in CAM systems, with a preference for Edgecam or Mastercam.Capability to program conversationally at the CNC machine.Experience in identifying and designing tooling and fixtures.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC mill, turning, milling, and grinding.Proficiency in using Mastercam and understanding g&m codes.Blueprint reading skills.
Work Environment

The work environment involves working directly with CNC machines, utilizing advanced CAM software, and engaging in the machining of prototype parts. The position demands precision and attention to detail in a dynamic and hands-on setting.

This is a Contract position based out of NA, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
