Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer who is committed to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of CNC machines. This role involves collaboration with various teams to solve machining issues and the development of machining templates and standard procedures. You will be responsible for interpreting and creating blueprints using CAD software, designing prototype components, assisting with new product implementation, and researching CNC-related purchases.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure all CNC components and tooling are in safe working order and well maintained.Set up and operate CNC machines for a variety of materials, including steel and plastic.Collaborate with management, maintenance, machine operators, and quality control to solve machining issues.Develop and maintain machining templates and standard procedures.Interpret and create blueprints using CAD and other technical drawing software.Design and build prototype components.Assist with new product implementation, turning ideas into CAD drawings for review and approval.Research and quote pricing for potential CNC-related purchases.Submit requests for purchase orders and assist with installation of new components.Operate mills, lathes, grinding machines, and fabricating machines safely and efficiently.Build and repair molding fixtures and components.Collaborate to ensure molds are properly prepared and aligned.Receive information on safety requirements, machining needs, and design requirements from various teams.Inform management about equipment problems, safety concerns, and project timelines.Perform any other duties assigned by the company.Essential SkillsExperience in CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting.Ability to interpret and create technical drawings.Strong collaboration skills with management and other teams.Experience with CAD software and technical drawing tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED required.Completed Certificate, diploma, or degree program in CNC Programming.0-5 years’ experience in CNC machines.Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.Previous experience in a plastics or textile manufacturer preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
