We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist skilled in operating ProtoTRAK machines. This role involves understanding tool selection, machining operations for efficiency, and feed rates.
ResponsibilitiesSelect appropriate tools and determine the order of machining operations to optimize efficiency.Use measurement and inspection equipment to verify parts specifications and dimensions.Read, analyze, and interpret engineering documentation, technical specifications, and manufacturing drawings.Apply shop mathematics, drawings, and measuring tools in daily tasks.Utilize proficient knowledge of tooling and efficient machining practices.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude.Proficiency in operating ProtoTRAK machines.Understanding of 7S and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Working knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Must be a U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a CNC Operator with set-up experience is a plus.Ability to work on both Mills and some lathes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with a small team of 3-4 machinists. Enjoy a diverse culture and work independently at your own station. The position involves a 2nd shift schedule from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with training on the 1st shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) for approximately two months.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $225.00/hr.
