As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our precision engineering and innovation efforts, collaborating with teams to meet the manufacturing needs of top Medical Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. **Responsibilities** + Operate multiple CNC machines in a team-based environment. + Perform general and daily maintenance on machines to ensure production efficiency. + Inspect parts regularly to ensure quality during production. + Adhere to all safety guidelines as outlined by the company. + Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing. + Conduct visual and manual inspections using equipment such as calipers and micrometers, as well as programmed CMM equipment. + Make offsets and change tooling according to provided layouts. + Communicate job status and part quality with team members and management. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in operating CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathe machines OR completion of hands-on CNC Vocational Schooling with Certification. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience in documenting machining processes. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, company-recognized holidays, and tuition reimbursement for continued education and professional development. The schedule is a 3rd Shift (Night Shift) from 5:30 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with initial training on 1st shift. Exceptions for training on night shift can be accommodated. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, Illinois. **Aerotek offers full-benefits and paid leave until converted after probationary period.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
