**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator - Metal** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team in the metal industry. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and ensuring quality standards are met. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, adhering to quality and safety protocols, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate turning and hobbing machines efficiently. + Load and unload machines with precision. + Adjust machine settings to optimize performance. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools. + Conduct measurements for quality inspections and record results accurately. + Report production data and escalate any issues to supervisors or managers. + Follow International Automotive Task Force (IATF) quality standards. + Work collaboratively in a team to achieve daily production targets. + Adhere to Internal Quality Issues (IQI) procedures. + Implement 'First in, First out' inventory practices. + Ensure compliance with safety rules and policies. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S standards. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 6 months of CNC experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in operating CNC machines. + Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gauges for measurements. + Strong reading comprehension of work instructions. + Good team collaboration and organizational skills. + Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Basic mechanical understanding and knowledge of metal cutting machines. + Capability to read schematics and understand the metric system. + Proficiency in math and measurement devices. + Basic computer skills and SAP knowledge are preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is preferred. + Excellent attendance and punctuality. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values your growth and offers comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. The position requires physical activities such as lifting and carrying weights, pushing and pulling using material handling equipment, and frequent standing and bending. We operate on a Monday-Friday schedule, with available shifts including 2nd shift (2:55 PM - 11:05 PM). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, GA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
