Job Description

Operate and monitor Swiss (Citizen) machines and other production equipment, ensuring efficient production cycles and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor Swiss (Citizen) machines and other production equipment as assigned.Load materials, run production cycles, and ensure smooth machine operation.Make basic offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality.Perform routine in‑process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.Remove finished parts, check for defects, and complete simple quality documentation.Keep machines clean, organized, and stocked with materials.Report mechanical issues or downtime to maintenance or supervision.Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.

Essential Skills

2+ years of CNC operating experience.Proficiency in tool changes, offsets, and blueprint reading.Experience with setup of machines, micrometers, calipers, and CNC Swiss machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience running Swiss/Citizen or CNC lathes is preferred but not required.Ability to make basic offsets and adjustments during production.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality specifications.Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for most of the shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
