As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for loading, processing, and unloading parts for various routine CNC milling or turning operations. You will maintain the standard operation of CNC equipment and perform basic machine offsets to ensure manufactured parts conform to blueprint specifications. This role requires monitoring parts for visual defects, changing tools as needed, and performing periodic inspections using basic gauges. Additionally, you will conduct preventive maintenance activities and maintain a disciplined 6S checklist routine.
ResponsibilitiesLoad, process, and unload parts for CNC milling or turning operations.Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously as assigned.Ensure CNC equipment operates to standard and perform basic machine offsets.Monitor parts for visual defects such as burrs, nicks, dents, or scratches and make corrections.Change tools according to the tool life management schedule to maintain quality standards.Perform periodic inspections using basic gauges including micrometers, calipers, and indicators.Conduct preventive maintenance activities and daily equipment inspections.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following 6S checklist routines.Perform additional duties as assigned by the production supervisor.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience running CNCs in a similar or manufacturing environment.Completion of related CNC courses or on-the-job training.High School Diploma.Ability to follow written instructions and basic blueprint reading.Proficient communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with using basic gauges and fixtures.Why Work Here?Join a company that values precision and craftsmanship, offering a collaborative work environment where safety and cleanliness are prioritized.
