Job Title: CNC OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate CNC mills, inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers, and be comfortable reading blueprints and schematics. You will work with tolerances as low as .0 and sometimes in the negatives, change out broken tooling, set up and tear down machines, change offsets, and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required, and each operator will be responsible for running three machines at a time.

ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC mills and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.Read blueprints and schematics with precision.Work with tolerances as low as .0 and occasionally in the negatives.Change out broken tooling and set up and tear down machines.Change offsets and perform preventative maintenance on machines.Manage the operation of three machines simultaneously.Essential SkillsCNC machining and mill experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Experience with medical device assembly and quality control.Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and microscopes.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-3 years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.Swiss experience is highly sought after.Experience in a medical device environment is a bonus.Adaptability to low volume/high mix work.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, exceptionally clean medical device facility in Cordova, Tennessee. The facility adheres to GMP standards, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Shift options include Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM or Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
