**Job Title: CNC Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled CNC Operators for our day shift. This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring quality production, and performing various machining tasks. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage machine operations and ensure product quality. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery and equipment with minimal supervision. + Utilize micrometers and gauges to measure and assure conformance and product quality. + Complete and maintain all records and logs. + Interrupt and restart machine cycles as needed. + Calibrate gauges to master gauges provided. + Reset dull or damaged cutters. + Communicate problems to the shift supervisor. + Maintain housekeeping standards. + Ensure quality and production requirements are met. + Provide feedback on processes, work instructions, and quality performance concerns. + Perform all miscellaneous duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Two years of recent CNC operator experience, with either Mill or Lathe CNC machines. + Experience utilizing quality tools such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers. + Experience in a manufacturing environment producing heavy parts and the ability to lift 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates with 5+ years of recent experience are preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities for career growth as we promote from within. The facility was recently cleaned, ensuring a tidy workspace. The dress code requires oil-resistant shoes or steel-toed boots, no cutoffs, and hats worn forward without hoods or loose clothing. The shift operates from 7:00am to 5:30pm, with mandatory overtime on weekends. Employees receive a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a 20-minute paid break. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fraser, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
