Cnc Operator
Job Title: CNC OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. In this role, you will load, process, and unload parts for various routine CNC milling or turning operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the standard operation of CNC equipment, performing basic machine offsets, and ensuring parts conform to blueprint specifications.

ResponsibilitiesLoad, process, and unload parts for CNC milling or turning operations.Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.Maintain standard operation of CNC equipment and perform machine offsets.Monitor parts for visual defects and correct issues such as burrs, nicks, dents, or scratches.Change tools according to the tool life management schedule.Conduct periodic inspections using basic gauges and fixtures.Perform preventive maintenance activities and daily equipment inspections.Maintain disciplined 6S checklist routines to ensure a safe and clean working environment.Perform other related duties as assigned by the production supervisor.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years’ experience running CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.Completion of related CNC courses or equivalent on-the-job training.High School Diploma.Ability to follow written instructions and basic understanding of blueprint reading.Proficient communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC operations and equipment.Attention to detail and ability to monitor quality.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $22.80/hr.
