CNC Operator

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, programming offsets, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
+ Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
+ Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offset corrections as needed.
+ Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts.
+ Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
+ Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and reporting issues promptly.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
+ Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC controls (e.g., Haas, Mazak, Okuma).
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Petersburg, FL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
