Cnc Operator
**Job Title: CNC Operator** Job Description As a CNC Operator, you will set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce parts in accordance with blueprints and specifications. You will be responsible for performing machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as necessary, while inspecting finished products using precision measuring tools. Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation are key components of this role. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety procedures and company policies, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Accurate documentation of production data and quality checks will also be required. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce parts per blueprints and specifications. + Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as needed. + Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges). + Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. + Document production data and quality checks accurately. Essential Skills + 2+ years of CNC operation experience. + Experience with micrometer, caliper, and gauge usage for 2+ years. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings for 2+ years. + Familiarity with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak). + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Good communication and teamwork skills. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a machine shop environment. + Knowledge of machining processes and tooling. Why Work Here? The facility is well-organized, promoting a laid-back yet productive atmosphere. Shift hours are Monday through Friday. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
