**Job Title: CNC Operator** Job Description A Stand Alone Operator typically works independently on a designated machine or workstation, responsible for producing precision parts from start to finish without relying on a team-based workflow. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage production tasks solo. Responsibilities + Operate assigned CNC or manual machining equipment independently. + Set up, run, and monitor machine cycles to produce parts to specification. + Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Maintain accurate production records and report any issues. + Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. + Ensure quality and consistency of finished parts. + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Essential Skills + Previous CNC machine operating experience. + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Ability to use micrometers and calipers. + Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent. + Experience in CNC machining or manufacturing preferred. + Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our facility is a fast-paced precision machining environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment. Our equipment includes over 90 pieces of manufacturing machinery, including Matsuura and Makino Vertical & Horizontal Machining Centers, Saw Cutting, and Wash Systems. Our flexible machining systems allow for efficient production runs of all sizes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of UNION, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
