**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** Job Description Join a leading metals-based med-tech solutions partner that excels in precision engineering and innovation. Responsibilities + Operate multiple CNC machines in a team-based environment. + Perform general and daily maintenance on machines to maintain production levels. + Ensure quality of parts through regular inspection during production. + Adhere to all company safety guidelines. + Read and interpret blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing. + Inspect parts using visual and manual inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers, as well as programmed CMM equipment. + Make offsets and change tooling as per the provided layout. + Communicate job status and part quality with team members and management. Essential Skills + 2-3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss machines or 2-3 years operating any CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathe with 1 year of CNC Swiss experience. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience in documentation of machining. + Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Swiss CNC Machinery such as STAR, Citizen, Tornos, SR-20RN, and SR-20RV. + Ability to interpret GD&T. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our precision department is air-conditioned and features an updated area with 100 different CNC machines, including 83 Swiss machines and 17 Mill/Lathe machines. Employees work on a 3rd shift schedule from 5:30pm to 5:00am, Monday through Thursday, after completing training on the 1st shift. Exceptions for training times can be accommodated. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
