Cnc Operator
Hiring CNC Machine Operators Near You

This role involves operating a new CNC machine specifically designed for working with rectangular pieces, trimming, and sizing them to meet customer specifications. The role also requires assisting in the production area when the CNC machine is not in operation. The primary tasks include setting up and operating CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.

Pay & Shift

$20-$23/hour

8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.Work in the production area when CNC operations are not required.Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality of produced parts.Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills

Experience in production and general labor.Proficiency with assembly and general production tasks.Ability to use measuring tools and hand tools effectively.Mechanical aptitude and experience with packaging and inspection tasks.

Work Environment

Work takes place in an extrusion plastics manufacturing facility. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
