**Job Title: CNC Operator** Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating various CNC machinery, including CNC Turning centers and CNC Milling Horizontal centers. You will receive cross-training in CNC machines like Mazak and Multiplex. Responsibilities + Operate CNC machinery in the facility. + Perform cross-training on CNC machines and mills. + Work with CNC Turning centers, including horizontal and vertical machines, 3 to 4 axis, sub-spindles, live tooling, and bar stock feeders. + Complete changeovers on vertical mills. + Direct mill work, including offsets, loading and unloading parts, deburring, and quality checks. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Conduct quality inspections using CMM and GD&T. + Work with raw castings and perform vertical sets. Essential Skills + 1-3 years of CNC lathe or mill operating experience. + 1 year of experience changing tooling and fixtures. + 1 year of blueprint reading experience. + 1 year of experience reading micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment. + 3+ years of CNC lathe or mill operating experience for OP2 Tier. + 3+ years of blueprint reading experience for Set OP1 Tier. + 5+ years of CNC lathe setup experience for Set OP2 Tier. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with CNC mills and lathes, including Mazaks and the person. + Proficiency in using micrometers and quality inspection tools. + Ability to work with tolerances as tight as +/- .5. Work Environment Join our CNC machine shop with 26 machines, including mills and lathes, running 10-hour shifts. Choose between 1st shift (5 AM-3:30 PM) or 2nd shift (3:30 PM-2 AM) with optional overtime on Fridays. Our clean, well-organized facility has approximately 50 employees. You will report to a cell lead, with potential for career advancement.
