**Job Title: CNC Grinding Operator - Up to $24/hr!** Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinding Operator to join our team. You will be operating various five-axis CNC grinding machines including EWAG, STUDER, and STAR CUTTER GRINDER. This role requires setting up and operating these machines, adjusting speeds and feeds, and managing tooling changes. You will also perform machine changeovers with cycle times up to six hours, utilize AutoCAD or NX for programming, and conduct quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Responsibilities + Operate and set up various five-axis CNC grinding machines. + Adjust machine speeds and feeds and manage tooling changes. + Run two machines simultaneously when necessary. + Perform machine changeovers with cycle times up to six hours. + Use AutoCAD or NX for machine programming, training provided. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Conduct quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Work in both job shop and production run environments. Essential Skills + 1-2+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably with mills or lathes. + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to read and use digital micrometers and calipers. + Blueprint reading skills, training will be provided. + Proficiency in setting up and operating machines independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience with CNC grinding machines is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a CNC Grinding shop that manufactures cutting tools for various industries including automotive and aerospace. The facility is climate-controlled and operates on a 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. Direct hire positions are available, offering 40-45 hours a week with a $1.25 shift differential for the 2nd shift.
