CNC Operator
Job Title: Production CNC Operator

Job Description

Looking for two types of machine operators- CNC Operators and Multi-Spindle Operators. The 3 main things that Maclean Fogg will look for when interviewing candidates for these machine operator openings are:

1.\tBlueprint reading experience

2.\tExperience utilizing a digital or manual gauge (they will be tested on this during the interview

3.\tExperience as a machine operator and working with metal!

-\tthese CNC machines are automated so the candidate will need to have prior experience setting up a CNC machine but programming the machine would not be required

-\tThey will be shown a part and asked to measure the part using a digital or manual gauge during the interview. This is how they will check the quality of the part once the CNC machine has ran its cycle time

-\tThe CNC operator will place the metal donut into the CNC machine, close to door and the machine will have about a 1.5 minute cycle time where it is working on the part, the operator would then check the part to ensure it is up to quality standards

-\tOperator is responsible for monitoring the machine as well and will need to troubleshoot if there is an issue, if they cant figure out the troubleshooting they would need to call maintenance

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using measurement tools, machine operation, and production line.Ability to read blueprints.Familiarity with hand gauges, calipers, and micrometers.Strong mathematical skills.Experience in metal manufacturing.Attention to detail.Knowledge of CNC machines and operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Blueprint experience is advantageous but not mandatory.CNC experience is preferred, but mechanically inclined candidates will be trained.Experience with Murata CNC Machines and Multi-spindle Screw machines is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a smoke-free facility that is not climate controlled but does not experience extreme temperatures. Collaborate with operators and production workers on shift in a newer facility. The dress code includes slip-resistant steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a work shirt without holes. Save receipts for tool and shoe reimbursements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
