**Job Title: CNC Operator** Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC vertical and horizontal machines in a 2-machine station setup, particularly with Haas brand machines such as the ST-30 and VF-2. Responsibilities + Monitor machine operations and load/unload raw materials and fixturing. + Perform routine machine maintenance and execute secondary operations such as hole resizing and part deburring. + Manage inventory during machine cycles and interpret Cirrus process specifications and design documentation. + Maintain equipment, report issues promptly, and follow all maintenance protocols. Essential Skills + Proficient with CNC water jet, lead operator, CNC laser, CNC operations, and water jet operations. + Basic programming skills and the ability to read drawings/blueprints. + Strong understanding of CNC setup and operation best practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Programming experience is a plus and may lead to higher compensation. + Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand tools, fixtures, rigging, and inspection instruments. + Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving workflows. + Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and routinely lift 55+ lbs. + Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
