**Job Title:** CNC Machine Operator – Mill & Lathe (Intermediate Level) **Location:** Livermore, CA **Job Type:** Temp to hire **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in operating 5-Axis and 3-Axis vertical mills and Lathe Live Tooling machines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in machining metal and plastic components, with the ability to read technical drawings and ensure precision fabrication. **Key Responsibilities:** + Set up, operate, and monitor 5-Axis, 3-Axis vertical mills, and Lathe Live Tooling CNC machines for production runs. + Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications to ensure accurate machining. + Select and secure work-holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for each job. + Calculate and set machining parameters including speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut. + Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications and complete all required documentation. + Maintain adherence to quality, safety, and maintenance standards throughout operations. **Required Skills:** + Experience with mill and lathe operations, including sheet metal and plastic fabrication. + Proficient in machine setup and axis control. + Ability to work independently and troubleshoot basic machine issues. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Intermediate-level experience in CNC machining. + Familiarity with Bluebeam, MS Office, or other relevant software is a plus. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
