**Job Title: CNC Operator**
Job Description
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for machining, assembling, and finishing rare earth magnet material and hardware to meet customer specifications. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining various machining and finishing equipment while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Optimize safety and minimize risk by wearing required PPE and adhering to safety precautions.
+ Read, understand, and follow Work Instructions (WI) and Process Control Standards (PCS) using the Paradigm system.
+ Interpret customer drawings, verify drawing part numbers, and ensure they match manufacturing routers.
+ Set up machinery by installing proper tooling, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
+ Maintain machinery and work area by cleaning, organizing, and performing preventative maintenance.
+ Operate various machining and finishing equipment, including CNC and manual machines.
+ Verify and accurately record data into ERP systems and maintain inspection and quality assurance records.
+ Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
+ Adhere to the EEC Escalation Policy by reporting issues affecting quality, safety, or productivity.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with CNC machinery and operation.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
+ Ability to perform inspections and use measuring tools.
+ Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of machining processes.
+ Minimum of 2 years of machining experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification preferred.
+ Experience with manual machining and documentation writing.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
+ Capability to work independently and make minor operational decisions.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, climate-controlled, and fairly quiet machine shop. A new building is expected to be built nearby to consolidate locations, offering a good team culture with many tenured colleagues. The role requires physical effort and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with assistance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
