**CNC Machine Operator – 3rd Shift** 📍Location: Asheboro, NC Pay: $22–$25/hr. to start Schedule: 3rd Shift | 6 PM – 6 AM | 2-2-3 rotating schedule Training: Day shift (6 AM – 6 PM) for 2 weeks classroom + 1 month on-floor training **We’re Hiring Experienced CNC Operators!** Are you skilled in CNC machine operation and looking for a stable, well-paying opportunity with room to grow? Join our team and work with advanced multi-axis CNC grinders, mills, and lathes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate and set up CNC machines (grinders, mills, lathes, mill-turns) + Perform setups, changeovers, tooling changes, offsets, and preventative maintenance + Modify G-code programs and adjust feeds/speeds + Read and interpret blueprints, process instructions, and GD&T specifications + Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc. + Maintain accurate documentation and support Lean/continuous improvement initiatives + Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent + 1–3 years of CNC or automated manufacturing experience + Vocational training, technical certification, or apprenticeship preferred + Proficient in shop math, geometry, and conversions + Strong communication and teamwork skills **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with multi-axis CNC grinders or CNC lathes/mills + Intermediate knowledge of GD&T and CNC programming + Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously + Comfortable working from blueprints and using precision measurement tools 🔧Machine operation experience and blueprint reading required. **📚Most other skills will be trained on the job!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
