**Job Title: CNC Operator**
**Job Description**
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for preparing machines for the start of production cycles, managing raw materials, and ensuring product quality through inspection according to company standards. You will also maintain records of product conformity, perform daily machinery checks, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during your shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare machine to start the production cycle.
+ Load and unload raw material onto the machine.
+ Perform visual and dimensional inspection in accordance with company standards.
+ Keep records of conforming and non-conforming products.
+ Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
+ Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in operating lathe and mill machines.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
+ Experience with machining and machine setup.
+ Familiarity with calipers and micrometers.
+ Understanding of production procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
+ Analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Teamwork and communication skills.
+ Adherence to health and safety regulations, including constant use of protective gear.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of READING, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
