Job Description
We are urgently seeking CNC Operators and Precision Grind Technicians to support our day/night shift operations. These roles are critical to our production workflow, offering the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain manufacturing equipment.Operate CNC machines (Gen Mill with Mitsubishi controls).Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues.Load and unload material to CNC machines.Perform finishing grinding and sharpening of materials.Log time and production quantities accurately using LYNQ software.Review work orders to understand material and time requirements.Keep production and maintenance logs up to date.Follow all safety and quality standards.Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.Identify and correct defects promptly.Keep the work area clean and organized according to 5S standards.Load/unload machines and perform safe starts.Perform manual and automated surface grinding.Use gauge blocks to adjust angles.Sharpen blades and inspect with a 10x loupe.Use buffing wheels to remove burrs and polish parts.Hand-finish tool profiles to meet specifications.Train and support less experienced team members.Participate in inventory counts and 5S activities.Provide feedback for process improvements.Essential SkillsCNC experience and sharpening experience.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work night shifts.Proficiency in machine operation, troubleshooting, and computer skills.Strong math skills and the ability to multitask.Experience with hand tools, power tools, grinders, and tumblers.Time management and laser cutting skills.Quality control and mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW.Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a machine shop, which can be loud and subject to temperature fluctuations, either cold or hot. Employees are expected to follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buellton, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
