**Job Title: CNC Machinist/Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Operator to join our team. This role involves producing machined parts by setting up and operating both manual and CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Change tools, including zero and reference points; set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculate requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; prove part programs based on blueprint reading.
+ Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicate vices; tram heads.
+ Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces; adhere to international standards.
+ Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations; take measurements; detect malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram controls; sharpen and replace worn tools; adhere to quality assurance procedures.
+ Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
+ Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs.
+ Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
+ Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and change over
+ Experience in CNC mill and CNC lathe setup
+ Program troubleshooting and programming, especially with MasterCAM
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Attention to detail
+ Basic written and communication skills

**Work Environment**
This position operates in a manufacturing setting, requiring physical dexterity for frequent use of hands and fingers. The role demands standing for 6-10 hours a day, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color differentiation. The environment may be loud and not temperature controlled.
**Job Location**
This position is based out of East Petersburg, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
