Cnc Operator
**Job Title: CNC Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join our team during the 2nd and 3rd shifts (3-11 pm, 11 pm - 7 am). The role involves operating CNC and Hydromat machines for the automotive industry. While prior experience in a CNC facility is preferred, we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC and Hydromat machines efficiently and safely. + Read and interpret job specifications to determine necessary machine adjustments and material requirements. + Apply part specifications, work instructions, routings, and process control plan prints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts. + Perform tooling changes and record these changes as specified on tool change charts. + Safely load specified bar stock into machines. + Collaborate with set-up personnel and engineering to resolve any machine problems. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined with a focus on quality checks. + Ability to read blueprints and operate CNC machines. + Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers. + Troubleshooting skills, particularly with CNC lathes. + Experience in machine operation and setup. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a CNC facility is preferred but not required. + Ability to determine good parts from bad parts. + Willingness to work overtime during the week and every other weekend, averaging 50-55 hours per week. **Why Work Here?** We are experiencing significant growth, having reached $50 million last year and aiming for $60 million this year.
