**Job Title: CNC Operator** **Job Description** As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for preparing the machine to start the production cycle, loading and unloading raw materials, and performing visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with company standards. You will also be responsible for keeping records of conforming and nonconforming products, checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality, and troubleshooting any issues that might occur during your shift. **Responsibilities** + Prepare machine to start production cycle. + Load and unload raw material onto the machine. + Perform visual and dimensional inspection in accordance with company standards. + Keep records of conforming and nonconforming products. + Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. + Troubleshoot issues that might occur during shift. **Essential Skills** + Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometers. + Understanding of production procedures. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. + Adherence to health and safety regulations, including the constant use of protective gear. + Analytical skills. + Attention to detail. + Teamwork and communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus. + Experience with lathe, mill, blueprint reading, machining, calipers, micrometer, and machine setup. + Print reading is essential. + Experience with Haas machining, machine shop, and tooling. **Why Work Here?** You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values teamwork and communication. The environment includes high-speed machinery and requires adherence to health and safety regulations, including the use of protective gear. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of READING, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
