Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry, specializing in mechanical solutions for both commercial and military aircraft systems. As a skilled Milling Machinist, you will be integral in the design, development, manufacture, and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components.
ResponsibilitiesPerform full set-ups of CNC machines, completing 3-4 set-ups per day.Operate milling and turning machines to produce high-quality parts.Efficiently manage and operate a minimum of two machines simultaneously.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in performing full machine set-ups.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience in running lathe or milling machines.Background in aerospace industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of basic G and M codes.Capability to edit programs as needed.Familiarity with Okuma and Fanuc controls.Work Environment
Work in a busy machine shop characterized by a loud and noisy yet super clean environment. Most machines are cooled with water, not oil. The role is on the 2nd shift, with hours from 2:30 AM to 11:00 PM, offering a 10% differential. With a $28 million backlog, there are substantial overtime opportunities available.

This is a full-time position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
