**Job Title: CNC Mill Set Up Operator** Job Description A manufacturing company that supports aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors by producing plastic and metal parts is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Set Up Machinist. This position involves setting up and operating Brother and Fadal Mill Centers to produce metal components with tight tolerances in a job shop environment. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC Mill Machines, focusing on Brother and Fadal Mill Centers. + Ensure production set-up and run times are met. + Install tooling, set up, and troubleshoot 3-axis mills. + Change tools and edit programs to enhance efficiency. + Use appropriate measuring tools and equipment. + Select suitable cutting tools, machine fixture clamps, and soft jaws. + Read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches. + Inspect and ensure the quality of personal work. Essential Skills + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC mill setup and operation. + Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting 3-axis mills. + Ability to change tools and edit programs for efficiency. + Competency in using measuring tools and equipment. + Capability to read and interpret engineering prints, drawings, and sketches. + Experience with Brother and Fadal machines is a plus.
