Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Set Up Machinist to join our dynamic team. As part of the machining department, you will play a crucial role in programming, setting up, and operating CNC mill equipment. Your expertise will help relieve the current plant manager from programming duties, allowing you to hit the ground running in a supportive environment.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mill equipment with minimal supervision.Machine aircraft parts, maintaining tolerances as tight as .0005”.Perform critical measurements using supplied gauging.Maintain proper paperwork associated with planned jobs.Translate and understand blueprints.Perform setups, tool changes, and offsets.Edit G&M code as required.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a CNC Mill Set Up Machinist.Proficiency in machining, Mastercam programming, and blueprint reading.Experience with G&M code edits and CNC Hass Set Up.Strong shop math skills and proficiency with a variety of precision measuring tools.Ability to perform quality inspections and handle small components.Experience working with stainless steel and holding tight tolerances.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas Machine/Controller.Aerospace experience.Experience in Mastercam Programming.Experience with 4 Axis / 3+2 Axis.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Enjoy a clean and well-organized facility with aerospace contracts. We have a significant amount of work lined up for the coming years. Our work schedule includes a 1st Shift from 6 am to 3:30/4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays from 6 am to 11 am. Overtime is available after 8 hours per day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
